Produced to represent the iconic livery of the Lotus Type 72, winner of the 1972 Drivers World Championship with Brazilian Emerson Fittipaldi. Limited to 20 pieces. Part of the highly collectible Retro Baby Piranha Collection - a series of carbon fibre sculptures featuring liveries from cars in seminal Formula One races. The sculptures are a smaller version of the Racing Piranha 2 sculpture which was originally commissioned by Rubens Barrichello in 2007. The sculptures capture the aggressive look and the hydrodynamic shape of the red-bellied piranha. Selected parts and materials used in the sculptures are from modern Grand Prix cars. Each sculpture is beautifully packaged and comes with a detailed list of parts.
